01 The story, in three paragraphs

Why everyone keeps coming back.

Nestled in the heart of Cave Junction, Oregon, The Replay is a standout American restaurant where classic comfort food meets inventive twists and a welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk through their doors at 115 Redwood Hwy, you’ll feel the cozy, friendly vibe that locals and visitors rave about. Whether you're stopping by for a casual bite or a celebratory meal, The Replay delivers an exceptional dining experience that feels like a flavorful journey back in time with a modern flair.

The menu brims with enticing options designed to tantalize your taste buds. Start with their famous fried pickles—not the typical chips, but hearty spears with the perfect crunch, as one satisfied guest put it, "the best fried pickles EVER!" For appetizers, the Poppers—broccoli and cauliflower coated in a crunchy potato chip crust with melted cheese—offer a delightful burst of savory goodness for just $12.00, while the Bavarian Pretzel Sticks dipped in house-made cheese sauce provide a satisfyingly salty and gooey snack. If you crave a fusion favorite, the Philly Egg Rolls are packed with all the rich flavors of a Philly cheesesteak wrapped in a crispy egg roll for a fun, handheld treat.

The Replay doesn’t shy away from hearty mains either. Their burgers are colossal—"almost the size of your face," as one enthusiastic diner described—with juicy patties and carefully crafted toppings that keep guests coming back for more. The buffalo chicken salad and fried chicken sandwich are equally memorable, featuring homemade chip batters and savory sauces bursting with depth and comfort. And who could resist their French fries? Swirled and thick, they add a playful crunch and satisfy that craving for simply irresistible sides.

Families will appreciate the thoughtfully designed kids’ menu, which includes favorites like the Lil Winner tender with a side, the classic Grilled Cheese paired with sidewinder fries, or the creamy, four-cheese Mac n’ Cheese that warms both hearts and bellies.

When it comes to wrapping up your meal, be sure to leave room for one of their seasonal desserts or the much-loved chocolate cake—rich and indulgent, the perfect sweet ending highlighted by patrons who call it "worth it." Pair your visit with a craft cocktail, such as their unique lavender lemon drop martini, which has been praised for its beautifully balanced, refreshing flavor. Guests who prefer non-alcoholic beverages have found just as much delight, showcasing the kitchen’s attention to diverse tastes and preferences.

What truly sets The Replay apart is the impeccable service and vibrant atmosphere. Diners consistently comment on the genuine warmth from the staff and owners. The casual yet lively setting makes it a perfect spot to catch up with friends or enjoy a laid-back dinner while soaking up Cave Junction’s friendly vibes. One visitor remarked on how the team ensured that a birthday dinner was perfectly timed, reflecting the attentiveness and professionalism that defines this local gem.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or passing through Cave Junction, The Replay promises a memorable meal filled with bold flavors, outstanding service, and a welcoming ambiance that keeps guests returning again and again. Love eating at The Replay. I would definitely say it's my favorite place to eat in Cave Junction. They know what they're doing. They also have the best take-home stuff that you can make. Pot pie is to die for.

This was AMAZING. We are from out of town and wanted an early dinner. This did not disappoint. Started with fried pickles and thank goodness they were spears and not chips! The best. We ordered the buffalo chicken salad and a fried chicken sandwich. WOW. The homemade chip batter and homemade sauces were phenomenal. The French fries that came with the sandwich were so interesting- swirled and thick wedges. Perfection. The whole vibe of the place is so happy and energetic. The kitchen crew was in great spirits and were singing to the 80s tunes. The owner? Not sure of his role but he seemed like such a genuine and kind person. He went out of his way to get me some coffee and let us regroup before hitting the road in our camper. If we come by again, we would 10/10 stop again. EAT HERE.

Small group came in for dinner to celebrate a friends birthday. I chose the general Tao chicken salad. Surprised me with the great flavor and crust on the chicken. Everyone loved their choices too. Lavender lemon drop martinis were amazing...I had a non alcoholic version...even better for me. Took awhile for food but made it so everyone was served at same time. Staff and chef were on top of everything. Bonus...classic rock playing at a perfect volume for us boomers! Yep, wouldn't hesitate to return. Kudos Replay!

I came here with my family and had a lovely experience. The service was super friendly and very good. Stellar!! The food was so good!! We got the fried ravioli and fried pickles as appetizers. They were amazing but especially the fried pickles omg so good! I wanted the chicken fried steak but it was sold out because it’s very popular there according to the server so I’ll have to try that next time. Instead I got the buttermilk fried chicken sampler. It came with two sides. I got mashed potatoes with gravy and the green bean casserole. My uncle got the same thing except he had the sweet corn so I got to try some of that too. All sides were great and the chicken was too! I would definitely visit again.

I had the shrimp and grits, very satisfying. Nicely presented and flavorful. My man had Chicken Fried Steak with fries. It was not the most intelligent choice as it was a lot of fried and that is hard to digest, but it was very tasty, the fries are great, big and crispy and fluffy, the seasoned ones are not too salty and have a subtle Cajun yum to them. I would like to try some other items. Oh, and the lavender lemondrop martini was really nice, it was a warm day and we sat outside with our dog at our feet. My only issue is the plethora of fried options, but I get it, comfort food. It's fat and salt, yummy! Glad the restaurant is there. They have lots if sandwiches and burgers as well as salads and interesting sides, so although it does showcase fried southern style, there are other good looking options.

This place is incredible, awesome choice of music, and the food is amazing!! The absolute best shrimp po boy in the valley, Cajun Mac n cheese, loaded fries and Ceaser salad, definitely worth the money and the wait. This place deserves a 1000/ Didn’t get a pic of the Po boy because I ate it too fast, but go get one for yourself and you won’t be disappointed.
